Clown_BD – Another Handy Little Program, No Clowning Around!!!

In my never ending quest for a never ending quest, I came across a great little app called Clown_BD. I have been looking for a program that has the flexability of DVDFab but for my Blu Rays/HD DVD collection (you can see my post on the DVDFab beta here, too many bugs to take seriously yet), and Clown_BD comes through. It has a very simple and straightforward UI, and only takes a few clicks to use. Clown_BD allows you to pull selected video/audio streams out of an unencrypted HD movie and wrap in a ts/m2ts/Iso/Blu Ray Structure container. There is no encoding involved unless you choose to convert an audio stream from one format to another. I was able to use Clown_BD to extract individual episodes from my Planet Earth HD DVD. Clown_BD uses eac3to and tsMuxeR, so another nice feature is that if one of these two programs is updated you would just need to download/overwrite the older version, there is no need to install another version of Clown_BD.
